The iron blues is an ongoing series of images at the intersection of space and time. With the use of digital collage techniques and the slow reverse process of cyanotypes, a strong presence of play and chance emerge with respect and tribute to Cage and Fluxus.
Places, people, objects converge with time-bound impressions and undergoes a trans-formative process that assemble selected elements into new narratives. This approach deconstructs physical places into evocative two-dimensional images that interweave space, memories and time.
The choice of displaying the acetates without frames results in shadows on the walls behind, which makes the works illuminate
– a sense of body appears. This not only enhance the spatial experience as a whole, it also creates exciting encounters between the works and the viewer.
