Pink TANK – Re:visited
1989 was a big year in the European history, the Berlin Wall fell, Solidarność created democratic leadership in Poland and in Czechoslovakia the Velvet revolution freed the country from the totalitarian Soviet state. 2019, the Czech Republic celebrates the 30th anniversary of its emancipation.
Niklas Bennwik, former Deputy Head of the Embassy of Sweden to the Czech Republic lit the spark together with the Czech artist David Černý to make a creative exhibition on democracy and the history of the Velvet Revolution. We were assigned to transform this historic incident into an exhibition concept, that we gave the name Democracy in Action.
