Walk in box

Walk in Box
Technique: Installation with sound and moving images
Size inside box: 800 x 300 x 240cm

The idea of making a large box where the visitors could enter, sit down and watch several video loops had been an idea and a strive to accomplish for some time, what was needed was a space large enough. When we were working on the Best Before – open studio exhibit we decided that here we could create a room for people to walk inside.

The exhibit had two themes, one was the question: ”does art ideas have a best before date” ?
The second was to address nature and the questions around how we humans rearrange and move nature to suit our ideas, but how cruel can we be to nature before it’ll strike back…? Signs of unbalance have long been knowned about and the climate goals which are set, are today political issues that everybody have to take seriously if we want to keep calling planet earth our home.
