THE BLACK series

Material: secondhand & found objects 

The series of these works are inspired by the conceptual, and Dada movement with a hunch of surrealistic we playfully create a new series that we simply call the Black series.

We use ready-made objects – everyday things we find or pick up at second hand shops or yard sales. We play and manipulate, compose new shapes and forms, transforming the old in search for the ”what and how” it’s fun, has a feeling of a puzzle, you figure out along the way.

The use of recognizable objects gives the work a dreamlike feel, like stepping inside a childhood room where the toys and animals are alive, having their own personality and place.
